Located on the outskirts of Toronto, I live with my lovely wife and daughter and create my images. Knowing from a young age that art was what I wanted to do as a career, I attended Sheridan College and finished their Interpretive Illustration program. My influences are a wide range. From ancient scultpture to abstract to graffiti art to the rockabilly scene, they all find a home in my work. Someone once said that you cannot force your individual 'style' in art to be something that it is not, it will show through in everything you create. I strongly believe in this. Last Chance Apparel is another offering from Matt Dyck Studios. Never fully satisfied with the lack of options in the clothing industry, and after countless trips to the mall ending in nothing gained, the decision was made. The classic cliche of "If you want something done right, do it yourself" was fully adopted when LCA was started in 2008. This company has continued to grow in it's product line now offering t's, hoodies, and a limited line of jewellery. LCA has built itself a solid base, and is looking forward to big things in the future while never compromising it's integrity. Matt has been heard saying many times "If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it right...." It is safe to say that this has become the unofficial mantra of Last Chance Apparel. |
